Dr. Shannon Parks DO is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She received her medical school training at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine and completed her residency in Psychiatry at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. During her time there, she served as a Chief Resident. She completed her undergraduate education at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology. She has trained with Karen Kleiman author of "This Isn't What I Expected : Overcoming Postpartum Depression" and "The Postpartum Husband: Practical Solutions for Living with Postpartum Depression". She is also a member of the American Academy of Clinical Psychiatrists and the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.
Donna Koby APN-C is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Advanced Practice Nurse. She is a member of The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and obtained her Masters’ Degree from Kean University and her certification in advanced practice nursing from South University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been working in the medical field for over 30 years and has experience in a variety of areas including mental health and hormone replacement therapy. She continues to be a dedicated, compassionate and knowledgeable medical professional in our practice.
As the medical receptionist at our practice, Laurie strives to provide a welcoming, calming and nurturing environment, at the same time working to establish trust and building rapport with all our patients. Her past experience has included both hospital and private practice settings including coordinating care for general medicine and oncology patients.
